The Church
New Culture Church is located in the West End section of The City of Pittsburgh P.A. We are creative leaders who CONNECT with others, EXPERIENCE Jesus, and LIVE EMPOWERED. Our church officially opened on October 20, 2019, and we are excited to say that we are still open today! We have experienced many of the same challenges that most churches have faced during the last year of doing life and ministry together, but the main thing that we realized as we continue to serve the families in our community is, “God‘s faithfulness is pandemic proof.“ We would love to get the opportunity to connect with you and hear your story. Our hope is that you would feel welcomed and supported as we journey through life together!
The Pastors
Hello! We’re Justin and Candice, Lead Pastors of New Culture Church. We’re excited to get the opportunity to connect with you! We believe God has called us to help people discover their purpose by providing them with practical tools that will help them discover their identity in Christ. Our primary focus as a team is to love God, love each other, and love our friends and family well. We are intentionally influencing Generations: X, Y, and Z by advocating for the arts, technology, and leadership communities in the cities we serve. When we encounter people as a couple (or individually) our hope for them is threefold:
1. HEARING – recognize the voice of God in conversation with us and w/others.
2. HEALING – experience personal healing and share that healing within their spheres of influence.
3. HELPING – extending grace to those in need.
We have over 18 years of ministry and storytelling experience. In the summer of 2018, we came to a place in our journey where God uniquely positioned us to plant a healthy, life-giving church in the greatest city in the world, Pittsburgh, P.A. We believe that storytelling is the most powerful tool that can be used to influence people. By telling the personal stories of the creatives and leaders in our community, New Culture Church is becoming a platform where those who are part of our community can share their life-changing experiences and skillsets with people who need a tangible experience of God’s love. We believe this approach will help us serve our city and spark a movement that will impact our city, our country, and the world!
